“hello mornings”

The book for review today is Hello Mornings: How To Build A Grace-Filled, Life-Giving Morning Routine” by Kat Lee. This book falls in the genre of religion, Christian life and personal growth.

Are your mornings busy? Are you mornings extremely busy? Do you have time to take three minutes to connect with God and yourself? Three minutes may not seem like a lot of time but inside this book according to Mrs. Lee it is the start of something that can impact your life on a few levels, levels that are important to you.

Meet Kat Lee, a wife and mom to three children, who is a writer, speaker, podcaster, and founder of HelloMornings.org.

The book is divided into three parts: Why Mornings?, Your Morning Routine Blueprint and Your Morning Routine Toolkit. The main point is getting ourselves focus on what is important and how to prioritize your life. Her three-minute suggestion starts off as such: read/memorize/pray Psalm 143:8 to looking at your calendar to see what is going on today and lastly to drink a glass of water

Granted this seems simple but doing it on a regular basis can take some doing. Now these are not set in stone, use the things that work for you for your three-minute moment.

I did enjoy reading this book. While parts of the book did not apply to me there was enough there that I could try to work on in my life and with my family. It is a quick read but keep a marker, pen or a notebook near by for you will want to take notes or use a marker on sections of this book. What was really nice was sections of the book listed questions and a place to write down the answers.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
