The book for review is “Roam” by Erik Therme. It falls in the genre of YA and fiction.

Meet our main character Sarah. A young lady who hasn’t had much luck with boys. Her latest one, Mark, is by all account a keeper by her mother. Sarah is so into Mark that she starts drifting away from her friends.

On her 21th birthday he takes her out but soon his car breaks down in a part of town where there is normally traffic, well until today. Mark’s true personality soon makes its appearance. It is one that is anything but the perfect boyfriend.

Enters Kevin, an aspiring writer, who finds a pretty young lady stranded on the side of the road. If he had known the rest of his day would be going from place to place trying to find a friend of Sarah’s which involved twist and turns that could turn deadly would he have picked her up? He does all he can to help her out even when he finds out about her abusive boyfriend who is out to get Sarah for dumping him.

This book has a bit of everything which will suit the age it is intended for. The book didn’t take me long to read for I did want to know how it would end. While some books you can figure out the ending, and this one somewhat I could, I stilled wanted to know how it happened hence I read it in 2 days.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the twist at the end was awesome.

I received for free in exchange for an honest review.
