“The Memory of You”

The book for review is “The Memory of You” by Catherine West. Tis book falls in the genre of fiction and romance.

Meet our main character, Natalie Mitchell, a young woman who lost her twin years ago in her teens. She hasn’t forgotten the lost as she moved on with her life in the city trying to make her parents happy. Something that has eluded her, happiness. Set to be married she finds her finance has been cheating on her. Between her sister dying, the mental breakdown, the canceled marriage and her parents Natalie is at a lost and is spiraling down fast.

Learning that her grandfather has suffered a heart attack her parent forces her to go visit and check up on him and the business which has been showing a lost for a few months. It’s her job to shut it down and return home.

Arriving home brings back memories of her sister and the boy she fell in loved with so many years ago, Tanner Collins who has grown into a handsome young man who now holds great responsibility with the winery.

Old feelings come back as her grandfather is thrilled to have her back home. However If she shuts down the business there will be a lot of people out of work. Tanner is trying to make a go out of the business and he must avoid Natalie and any thoughts he has for her especially if her sole job is to close up shop.

It doesn’t take long for Natalie’s dad to put pressure on her. Either she stands up to her dad or once again do what he says.

I enjoyed this book and I’m not one who read books with romance but this was done just right. The pages flew for I wanted to know what happened next. I finished in a couple of days. The characters were delightful.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
