The book for review is “Winter’s Captive” by June V. Bourgo.
Our main character is Georgia. She just found out she is pregnant. This should be the happiest time of her life. One small problem. Her husband Colin has left her for another woman, one he has gotten pregnant.
He doesn’t know his wife is pregnant, instead Georgia decides to move on with her life. Which she would have if she hadn’t gotten abducted by two men whose end game is to kill her. Fighting for her life and her baby she escapes in the woods ending up at an unoccupied camp.
Not just any camp but one that is fully stocked. She has struck pay dirt. That is if she has evaded her captors. Being snowed in Georgia learns to make due with what she has in front of her. If her situation isn’t bad enough, her baby is not willing to wait for them to be captured, it wants to be born now.
With the help of a spirit guide George learns about who she is and what she is now becoming as she grows in to her own.
I really enjoyed this book. The pages turned quickly as I wanted to know what was going on. It is a good read. It has action and adventure. I am glad I was asked to review this book.
