“Momaholic” by Dena Higley

The book up for review is “Momaholic: Crazy Confessions Of A Helicopter Parent” by Dena Higley

This book according to the author is not meant to be a self-help book. It is more intended for us to read about her family life.  It includes the ups and downs of being a mother, wife and career woman as well as the other hats she wears.

Most moms can relate to the hectic life one has when there is a marriage and kids involved. The book shows how we are not alone.

However by the time I was halfway done the book I was bored.  Even though this book says it is not a self-help book it feels like one.  I have read so many books of this kind and that is where the problem lies. For me to enjoy it, the book has to stick out and wave HELLO to me to enjoy it.  If you are a reader and have not read many books of this kind you will like it. It is full of humor, stories, memories and lessons all rolled up into one.  For it is a feel good book and that gets much props from me.

I received this book for free in exchange for two honest reviews
