The book for review is “The Founders’ Key: The Divine and Natural Connection Between the Declaration and the Constitution and What We Risk By Losing It” by Larry P. Arnn
This book is divided into two parts. The first is “The Argument” while the second is “ Foundational Readings”. The author debates whether the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence are still relevant in today’s society. Is the material in these sacred documents that defined our country so many years ago still fitting where the nation stands today?
Many Americans have little clue what is in these two documents let alone have picked it up to read. Yet it was our founding fathers who constructed them that would help define our country back then and for the future.
Many in government feel these words are irrelevant and are constantly challenging these documents and the words that are contained in them. But who gets to choose what fits and does not fit for us anymore? Those who we elect to public office. The same ones who try to amend these two documents bit by bit so it will suit their own personal needs when the time suits them.
This is not light reading. Every page is pack full of history than and the history that is being made now in Washington and across our country.
