“The Coming Revolution” by Dr. Richard G. Lee

The book for review is “ The Coming Revolution: Signs From Americ’a Past That Signal Our Nation’s Future” by Dr. Richard G. Lee.

This is an intense book, one can not just skim through it and expect to give an honest review. The first half of this book talks about America’s history pertaining to how this country first got populated and why they escaped their old life to start a new. It mentions the religious convictions and moral standings of our first settlers from Europe. If you are big on American history you will enjoy this portion of the book. I am a fan but even I got bogged down by the stats and detailed information. The author did an amazing job of research and it shows in his writings and especially in the first 100 pages.

The second half of the book brings us to present day. It talks about where our country stands as opposed to the past. Topics include how government is more involved in our everyday lives more then ever. It mentions how our culture and way of life is deteriorating with the education system, health case, politicians who are in bed with major companies and countries and ignoring or not caring about the people the represent.

If you knowledgeable about the different parties of our government this will be a good read for you. If you struggle, have no clue or don’t care this part of the book will bore you.

It is not an easy read but if you are a concern citizen and are worried about where our country is heading to now then pick up this book.

I received this book for free in exchange for two honest reviews.
